CULTURA DE LA ARQUITECTURA CLASICA In class we see the history of each period of architecture and iconic buildings, we must watch a ppt and listen what the teacher has to say for the class, and when the class finishes the teacher sends us text and documentary videos that we must see to complete the contents.   At first, I was afraid and interesting about this class because a don’t like history I am more a science person, but the idea to know the history and how develop, also how the architecture changes over the time, and the connection that the arts, construction, and architecture has in the past and why has been missing whit the times. In this way helps us to understand why and how they do some of the most gorgeous and huge buildings, like the cupola from the Byzantine architecture or the church form the Gothic, we can learn about the past mistakes and success, how they see the architecture, what it means to them, how they see the city and used this thing in the actuality ...

LOVE, DEATH + ROBOST This is one of my favorite series on Netflix, I can watch it repeatedly, this is an animated anthology series, create by David Finder and Tim Miller the director of “Deadpool”;  I wouldn’t call it a 100% animated because there are episode that you can’t tell at first sight if it is animation or live action; it consists of episodes that contain different narrative and styles of animations, explore interesting stories from diverse genres like comedy, horror, fiction and fantasy. Every episode is different in every way. The photorealistic animation that uses it is extremely well done, show off a wide range of types of animation across 3 seasons that you can’t decide which one is your favorite and each episode hides a moral lesson and his unique twist. For me in many ways remind me to “Black Mirror” but with animation, a series that you fall in love because his incredible animation, landscape, and the unusual and metaphoric history’s. If I must choose one of my f...

Kengo Kuma, born in Yokohama, Japan in 1954, now is one of the most important architect in Japan. His first office was in Tokyo and his name was Kengo Kuma & Associates. Renowned for use materials for his emotional content, his work has a deep relation with Japanese tradition and his structural characteristic, they most of the time he uses wood, but also stone, ceramic, bamboo, plastic, and vinyl. I like this architect for 2 reasons: 1.    1.     The history behind why he becomes an architect, I relate to his history and maybe there’s more children and people that feel the same way. He became an architect because he grew up in a dark, dirty, and an old wooden house, and unlike his friend’s houses, all of them built with new materials, so he was ashamed of this house. 2.       2 .   The philosophy behind the Japanese tradition, for him the respect the environment is an important aspect and doesn’t want to stand out, try to ...

Hi everyone! Today I am writing about my favourite picture, it took me a while. This picture was taken by me in 2021 and it was for a homework for a class. She is my grandmother has 101 years, she is very old and the pandemic and lockdown it was very hard for her, she cant walk very well, at time ago she fell and broke her waist and all of her friends has passed away, so this time was really sad for her. And she found that what make it happy was sitting front of the door open, when the sun hit, that is her comfort zone. What I love about this picture, is that for me show how the pandemic and lockdown has affected to the older people and how the people has to find new ways to clear the head. This moment when I took it, my grandma was seeing a peach tree that she plant near of the house.
